Buses
On the day of the wedding, we will arrange for buses to collect all guests from the pre-arranged pick up points in Waipukurau, Waipawa, Ōtāne and Hastings. There will also be buses arriving at the end of the night to take everyone back to the pick up points. The Quest in Hastings will be a pick up point, however the remainder of the pick up points are yet to be confirmed. Please check back here closer to the time for more details.
The buses will pick everyone up around 1pm-2pm (depending on your location) and collection from the venue at the end of the night will be around 11:30pm-12:00am.
Taxis
Taxis on the day may be limited, so please do not plan on being able to arrange a taxi to or from the venue. If you plan on leaving the event early then we suggest pre-booking a taxi in advance via a reliable taxi company. Please let us know if you need assistance with this at all.
Driving
We kindly ask that you do not drive to the venue if avoidable, as there is limited parking available. If you need to drive to the venue, please let us know and we can discuss this with you separately.
There are many lovely accommodation options near to the venue. Whether you choose to book a hotel, motel or via AirBnB, we suggest that you book a place that is in (or walking distance to the main road within) Waipukurau, Waipawa, Ōtāne or Hastings.
We've provided a short list of suggested places below that are convenient to the venue. Wherever you choose to book, please keep in mind that the bus pick up points will be near the centre of the relevant townships noted above, so if possible please do try and stay near to the main areas so travel is easy for you on the day. I

The airport you will fly into is Hawke’s Bay Airport.
You will need to hire a care to be able to travel to your accommodation, the venue (for the day after event) and between wedding events - albeit the distances are not far. From the airport you will be able to hire a car, however we strongly suggest that you arrange this in advance. The airport is roughly a 1hr drive from the venue and Waipukurau.
Formal attire. It will be hot, so make sure to dress appropriately!
There will be portions of the day that are on grass and so we suggest that any ladies planning to wear heels bring along heel stoppers! We will have a few on hand in case you forget, but they will be limited.
Children are welcome to all events, however, please do let us know in advance whether you intend on bringing your kids so we can arrange accordingly. For the Māmā's who are breastfeeding, you will have access to private areas within the Villa if you wish to have more privacy. The inside of the Villa is unfortunately otherwise off limits for guests.
There is absolutely no expectation for gifts, the most important thing to us is celebrating with all of you! However, if you have a burning desire to gift us something, you are most welcome to contribute towards a piece of art for our future home when we make the move back to New Zealand. We have set up a collection fund and provide the details below:
